Picking a gift for a peer specialist
A peer specialist is someone who has lived through mental health or substance use challenges and now uses that experience to support others in recovery. Their days are built on conversations: meeting people where they are, sitting with hard moments, helping someone navigate an appointment or a housing form, and sharing hope that comes from having been there. Many peer specialists are a little tired of the job being underestimated, and a gift that names the work plainly tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with peer specialist on it is a way of saying their role matters, and that you see the skill behind the warmth. Add a second line for their agency, their certification or the year they completed training if they'd like it. A mug works well for the long shifts and early team meetings, and a dark tee suits someone who spends much of the week in the community rather than behind a desk.
Peer Specialist gift questions
Can I add a certification or agency name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type their agency, program or credential there. Check the preview to confirm the spacing before you order.
Is there a gift that works for a whole peer support team?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. Paste the names of everyone on the team and choose a size for each person, and each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for someone just starting as a peer specialist?
A mug or tee with their role and start year is a good choice. It marks the beginning of the job and is something they can use every day.
What sizes do the peer specialist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a peer specialist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
