Gifts from Pelican
Pelican is the word for a few different things, so the first question is which one this gift is for. Many shoppers mean the bird: the big-billed brown fisher that dives off piers and sits on pilings with an expression of total patience. Others mean the city, the Pelican State nickname for Louisiana, or the place-name pride of someone who grew up in one of the small towns that carry the name. A pelican shirt suits the person who loves the coast, the bird watcher, the kayaker who has been startled by one swooping low over the water. A Pelican tee or hoodie for someone from Louisiana reads as hometown pride. Either way, the design does the talking. Add a second line, like a town, a boat name or the year they moved, and the shirt becomes about this person and not just the word. The mug suits the early riser who drinks coffee on a porch watching the water.
Pelican gift questions
Does Pelican mean the bird or the city?
It can mean either, and the designs cover both. Look at the design previews to find the one that fits the person you're buying for, then add a line of text if you want it to point more clearly to a place or a hobby.
Can I add a town or a name to a Pelican shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a town, a year or a name. Type it in and the live preview will show you how it sits under the word.
Are there Pelican designs for babies and kids?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies with Pelican designs. Use the product filter to see only those.
What sizes do the pelican shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Pelican gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
