Picking a gift for a perioperative technician
A perioperative technician, often called a surg tech, spends the day in the operating room handing instruments, setting up sterile fields and keeping the room moving while the surgeon and anesthesia team do their work. Their shifts start early, the room is cold, and most of the work happens without anyone thanking them. A gift that acknowledges the specific job lands well. A tee for the drive to the hospital, a hoodie for the chilly OR, or a mug for the break room where they finally sit down. Put the title on it, or add the surgical specialty they work in such as ortho, cardiac or general surgery, and it becomes theirs instead of a generic medical shirt. If they earned a certification, use their credential rather than guessing at a title. A small detail, like the year they finished their program, makes a gift feel like it was meant for them.
Perioperative Technician gift questions
Can I add a specialty or certification to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type their specialty, such as ortho or cardiac, or their credential there, and check the preview before you order.
Is there a day to celebrate surgical techs?
Surgical Technology Week falls in the fall. Ordering a few weeks before is a good idea if you're buying for a whole team.
Can I order shirts for my whole surgical team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the perioperative technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a perioperative technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
