Picking a gift for a phd internship
A PhD intern is usually a graduate student or early-career researcher spending a summer or semester inside a company, lab or agency, often far from the campus where they've been living for years. The long hours go to projects that may not be published for a while, so the gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge the work in a light way. A tee with PhD intern on it is a good conversation starter for the first week at a new site, and a hoodie fits the air-conditioned office or the late-night lab. A mug suits the early coffee and the first draft that refuses to cooperate. Adding the field, the company or the program year makes the gift specific to their path. Many internships also end in a final presentation or a return to school, so a shirt or mug can mark that milestone and remind them where the summer went.
Phd Internship gift questions
Can I add the field or company to the design?
Many designs have a second line for extra text. Type the research area, program or year there and check the preview before ordering.
Is a PhD internship the same as a regular internship?
No. A PhD internship is usually done by a graduate student and focuses on research. Pick a design that matches their stage.
What's a good gift for the end of a PhD internship?
A mug or tee with their title and summer year marks the milestone and gives them something to keep from the experience.
What sizes do the phd internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a phd internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
