Gifts from Point Reyes Stat
Point Reyes Station is a small town in Marin County, the gateway to the Point Reyes National Seashore and a stop for anyone driving the coast north of San Francisco. People who live there tend to be proud of the place in a quiet way: the dairy country, the wind off Tomales Bay, the town's one main street and its bookstore. A shirt with Point Reyes Station on it is the kind of thing a local wears to the farmers market, and a visitor wears home as a reminder of a good trip. Because the town is small, a design that names it reads as an insider's pick rather than a tourist souvenir. Add a second line for a year you moved there, a trail you hike, or a road you drive every morning, and it becomes their own. A mug suits the coffee-and-fog mornings, and a hoodie works for the cold coastal evenings even in summer.
