Picking a gift for a polysomnographic tech
A polysomnographic tech spends the night awake so other people can sleep, watching brain waves, breathing and heart rhythm on a sleep study while the patient tries to doze with wires taped to their scalp. It's a job with long hours in a quiet room and a lot of careful attention, and the people who do it tend to be proud of the work even when nobody outside the field knows what it is. A gift that names the job shows you noticed. Put the full title on a tee or hoodie, or use a shorter line like Sleep Tech or PSG Tech for everyday wear. The mug suits the early-morning hours they spend between studies. Many techs also carry a credential, such as RPSGT or RST, so if they have one, adding it on a second line makes the gift feel specific to their training rather than generic. Whatever you choose, keep it simple and let the work speak for itself.
Polysomnographic Tech gift questions
Can I add a credential like RPSGT to the shirt?
Yes. Type it into the second line of the design, and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is polysomnographic tech the right job title to use?
It's the full name, and many techs also go by polysomnographic technologist or sleep tech. Type whichever title they use at work, and the design will match it.
What's a good gift for someone just starting in sleep tech?
A hoodie or tee with their title and the year they started. It's comfortable for long shifts and marks the start of their training.
What sizes do the polysomnographic tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a polysomnographic tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
