Picking a gift for a polysomnographic technician
Polysomnographic technicians, or sleep techs, spend their nights in dark rooms watching a monitor while a stranger sleeps, then drive home at dawn to try to sleep themselves. It's quiet, precise work that most people never hear about, so a gift that names the job directly tends to mean more than a generic healthcare shirt. A hoodie is useful for the cold overnight shift and the commute home. A mug fits the coffee that gets them through the 3 a.m. hours. Put their name on it, and add their credential, RPSGT or RST, if they earned one, since that's the part they worked hardest for. If you're shopping for a whole sleep lab, one design with each tech's name on their own shirt is a practical thank-you that the whole team will actually wear.
Polysomnographic Technician gift questions
Can I add a credential like RPSGT or RST to the shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box, either after their name or on its own line. The preview shows the spacing before you order.
Is there a design for the whole sleep lab team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop, choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person.
Can I put their sleep center or hospital name on it?
Yes, you can type any text into the second line. Just keep it short so it fits the design cleanly.
What's a good gift for a new sleep tech?
A hoodie or tee with their name and job title. It's something they'll wear on the long shifts and mark the start of their new career.
What sizes do the polysomnographic technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a polysomnographic technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
