Gifts from Port Townsend
Port Townsend is a small Victorian seaport on the Quimper Peninsula in Washington, the kind of town people leave for a while and then come back to. Someone who lives there, or grew up there, probably has strong feelings about the harbor, the historic downtown and the way the fog rolls in off the strait. A Port Townsend shirt is how they claim the place on a trip, at a ferry line or in a city where nobody has heard of it. It also suits a former resident who misses the small-town quiet. For a gift that lands, add a second line that means something to them, like the year they moved there, their street, or the name of the boat they sail out of the marina. Pick the product by how they spend their days: a tee for the walk along the waterfront, a hoodie for the cold mornings, a mug for the kitchen window that looks out on the water.
Port Townsend gift questions
