Gifts from Portlandville
Portlandville isn't a place most people will recognize on sight, and that's part of the appeal for anyone from it. A shirt with the name is a quiet nod to a hometown that doesn't show up on every souvenir rack, the kind of thing a friend or relative will notice and ask about. Whoever it's for has probably spent years explaining where they're from, so a gift that simply says Portlandville saves them the trouble. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a street, a school or the year they left or came back, and it becomes a little more theirs. A hoodie suits the cold months, a dark tee works for the everyday wear that gets the most use, and a mug puts the name on the kitchen counter every morning. Since this is a smaller place name, the best gift usually comes from knowing a detail about the person or the town and typing it right under the main word.
