Picking a gift for a preparation cook
A preparation cook is the person who shows up before the dining room fills, breaking down cases of produce, portioning proteins, and making the sauces and stocks the line depends on. The hours are early, the work is repetitive and precise, and the best ones are quietly the reason service runs smoothly. A gift that acknowledges the prep station, not just the restaurant, tends to land well. Put their name on it, or the words prep cook, and it becomes a shirt they'll actually wear to the kitchen and back. A hoodie is useful for walk-in trips and early-morning drives, and a mug suits the break they take before the rush. If you know their station or the restaurant's name, a second line can make it theirs.
Preparation Cook gift questions
Can I add my cook's name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type their name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is there a kids option for a prep cook?
Kids tees and dark kids tees are available for this word, though fewer designs than the adult shirts. Use the product filter to see them.
Which product is best for an early-shift cook?
A hoodie is the most practical for cold walk-ins and early drives, while a mug fits the break routine.
Can I order a shirt for a prep cook I don't know well?
Yes. A simple tee with the title and their name is a safe choice, and you can keep the design clean without adding anything personal.
What sizes do the preparation cook shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a preparation cook gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
