Picking a gift for a prime broker
A prime broker is the firm that holds the money, the securities and the trade records for hedge funds and other large investors, and runs the financing and clearing behind their positions. The work is early mornings, a lot of phone calls with portfolio managers, and watching margin and balances across markets that never sleep. A gift that lands for someone in that job acknowledges the detail they live in. Put the title on a tee or hoodie they can wear on a weekend, or on a mug that stays on a desk that is usually covered in screens and paperwork. Their firm's name or the desk they work on, added in the second line, turns a generic professional gift into one that is clearly theirs. For a team that finished a hard quarter together, one shared design in the Team Shop with each person's name gives everyone something to wear to the next close.
Prime Broker gift questions
Can I add a firm name or desk to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the firm, desk or their name there and check the preview before you order.
Is prime broker a credential?
It is a job title in finance, not a certification. If they hold a specific license, you can type it on a second line, or leave it off and keep the title.
Can I order shirts for my whole team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Are there designs for kids or babies?
There are a few kids tees and one baby onesie with this word, which can be a fun joke for a family in the industry.
What sizes do the prime broker shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a prime broker gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
