Picking a gift for a principal architect
A principal architect usually carries the weight of a project's name, meaning they're the one who signs the drawings, sits in the client meetings and answers for the building long after it's finished. Their days mix careful sketching with long calls, site visits in hard hats and a lot of coffee drunk over drawings. A gift that acknowledges that work lands best when it feels like it belongs to their studio life. A tee for the weekend site walk, a hoodie for the chilly drafting room, or an 11 oz mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off the desk. Type the title exactly as they use it, and add their firm name or the year they earned their license on a second line if you know them. That small detail turns a generic profession shirt into one that's unmistakably theirs.
Principal Architect gift questions
Can I add a firm name or license year under the title?
Many designs have a second line. Type the firm name, the year they were licensed, or their name there and check the spacing in the live preview before you order.
Is principal architect a title that appears on the designs as written?
Yes. Designs print the word you type, so you can use the exact title your studio uses, such as Principal Architect or Design Principal, if you'd like it to match their business card.
What's a good gift for a newly promoted principal architect?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they were promoted. It marks the milestone in something they'll use every day.
Can I order for an entire architecture team at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person so every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the principal architect shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a principal architect gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
