Picking a gift for a printing press operator
A printing press operator spends long shifts beside loud, heavy machinery, keeping ink, paper and registration in line while the job runs. Many of them learned the trade on the floor rather than in a classroom, and they tend to take real pride in a clean run and a sharp sheet. A gift for them should feel like it respects that work. A soft tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the cool pressroom, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the coffee break all fit the daily routine. Put their title on the shirt, and add their shop, their press type or the year they started if you know it. Those small details turn a generic work shirt into something they'll actually wear. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name can be a nicer send-off than a sheet cake.
