Picking a gift for a prior authorization technician
Prior authorization technicians sit between the clinic and the insurance company, chasing approvals, reading denial codes and calling payers on hold for longer than anyone would like. It's detail work that nobody sees until something goes wrong, which makes a thank-you gift feel personal when it's a little pointed about their job. A hoodie for the cold office, a mug for the morning queue of faxes and portal logins, or a tee for the weekend they're finally off the phone. Add their name, or the practice or department they work in, so the gift is theirs and not a generic office joke. Many of these techs work quietly on a team of two or three, so a shirt that names the whole crew can be a nice touch for a team celebration.
Prior Authorization Technician gift questions
Can I add a credential or department to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a department or a credential. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is this a good gift for someone who just started the job?
It can be. A new tech often appreciates a mug or tee that marks the start of their role, especially when you add their name and the year they started.
Can I order for a whole authorization team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the prior authorization technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a prior authorization technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
