Picking a gift for a production designer
A production designer is the person who makes a film or show look like a real place, from the sets and props to the color of the coffee cup on the actor's desk. Their days often mean early site visits, long location moves and a lot of sketches and budget conversations before a single frame is shot. A gift that acknowledges the craft lands best: a tee they can wear to a set, a hoodie for cold location days, or a mug that's clearly theirs in a crowded production office. Add a second line with a credit they're proud of, a show title or the year they started in the business, and the shirt becomes a conversation piece. Plenty of designers are the kind of person who notices details, so a thoughtful, specific gift tends to be remembered longer than a generic one.
Production Designer gift questions
Can I add a show title or year to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the show title, film name or year there and check the preview before you order.
What's a good gift for a production designer who just wrapped a big project?
A mug or tee with their title and the project name works well. It marks the moment without being too precious.
Do you have kids and baby versions?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and a baby onesie design for this word. The product filter shows them all.
Can I order shirts for a whole production team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the production designer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a production designer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
