Picking a gift for a programming intern
A programming intern is usually in their first real job, often still in school or just finishing, and figuring out what a day looks like. They're learning version control, sitting in standups where nobody explains the acronyms, and shipping code that someone else will review line by line. A gift that tells them they belong on the team helps more than a generic office item. A soft tee they can wear to the office or to a hackathon, a hoodie for the cold conference room, or a mug for the first cup of coffee before the build finishes. Add their name, or the word programming intern in a second line, so the gift marks this exact stage of their career. The internship is a moment people look back on fondly, so a gift that records it tends to get kept.
