Picking a gift for a psych technician
Psych techs work the floor of inpatient units, sitting with patients through rough nights, documenting, redirecting, and keeping things steady when a shift turns tense. It's physically and emotionally demanding work, often done on rotating or night schedules, and it rarely gets the recognition it deserves. A gift that shows you see what they do lands well: a soft tee for the drive home after a double, a hoodie for cold break rooms, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off the nurses' station. Put psych tech in the main line and add a unit, a shift, or a first name in the second line so it feels personal rather than generic. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each tech's name on their own shirt is a thoughtful way to say thanks.
Psych Technician gift questions
Can I add a unit or shift to the shirt?
Yes. Most designs have a second line, so you can type in a unit name, a shift, or a first name. The live preview shows how it will look before you order.
Is there a special day for psych technicians?
Many healthcare workers are recognized during National Nurses Week in May, and some facilities hold their own staff appreciation events. Check with the person you're buying for to see what their workplace celebrates.
What's a good gift for a new psych tech?
A hoodie or mug with their title and start year is a nice way to mark a new job. It's practical and shows you noticed the work they've taken on.
Can I order for a whole psych unit at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the psych technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a psych technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
