Picking a gift for a purchasing engineer
Purchasing engineers sit between the people who design a part and the suppliers who have to make it, which means they spend a lot of their week negotiating quotes, chasing lead times and deciding whether a cheaper alternative will actually hold up. It's a job that rewards patience and a good spreadsheet, and it's rarely visible to anyone outside the department until something goes wrong. A shirt or mug that names the role gives them something to be proud of, and it often gets a laugh from the engineers they work with every day. Adding their company's department, their year of certification or the year they started can make it specific to them. For a shopper, a hoodie is a practical pick for a job that often takes them through cold warehouses and factory floors, and a mug fits the coffee-fueled morning review of open purchase orders. Pick the product that matches how they actually spend their day.
Purchasing Engineer gift questions
Can I add a company name or department to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type the company, department or a year there and the preview will show how it sits under the title.
Is purchasing engineer a formal certification?
It's a job title rather than a certification. If they hold a specific credential, you can type it on the second line instead.
Are there options for a whole purchasing team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste a list of names, with a size for each person.
Do you have a design for a purchasing manager or buyer?
Search for those titles to see what's available. Each word has its own designs.
What sizes do the purchasing engineer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a purchasing engineer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
