Gifts for people into qanun
A qanun is a plucked zither with a trapezoid wooden body and dozens of strings, played across the Arab world, Turkey, Iran and beyond. The player sits with the instrument across their lap or on a table and plucks with small picks on both hands, so a qanun player's life is mostly long practice sessions, rehearsals and ensemble gigs where their part has to sit inside a larger sound. A gift that speaks to that life lands well: a tee for the rehearsal room, a hoodie for cold concert halls and late drives home from a wedding, or a mug for the mornings spent with the tuning and the scales. Qanun players often have a regional or family tradition behind their playing, so a name or a teacher's school on the shirt makes the gift feel personal. If you're unsure of their exact lineage or nickname, a simple line with their name and the instrument is always a safe, warm choice.
Qanun gift questions
Are there qanun designs for kids?
Yes. There are kids tees and dark kids tees with qanun designs, so a young student who is learning the instrument can wear one to lessons and recitals.
Can I add the player's name or teacher's name?
Yes. Most designs have a second line where you can type a name, a school or a group. The preview updates as you type so you can see how it looks.
Is there a qanun design for a music group or orchestra?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose a qanun design, paste the names of everyone in the group, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the qanun shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a qanun gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
