Gifts from Quay
A quay is a stretch of wharf where ships tie up, and a quay name usually points to a harbor town, a river bank or an old port district. If the person you're shopping for lives near a quay, or grew up watching the boats come in, a shirt with the word on it is a quiet way to say you know where they're from. Quay is a short word, so it sits well on a tee or a hoodie with room for a second line: a harbor name, a street, or the year they moved there. A mug works for the early-morning coffee on the water, and a baby onesie is a sweet pick for a family that lives by the docks. Because Quay can also be a surname, a first name or a place name, you can make it theirs by adding whatever ties it to them.
Quay gift questions
Can I add a second line to the Quay design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a town, a street, a year or a name there, and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is Quay a place name or a surname?
It can be either. Quay is a word for a wharf, and it also appears in place names and as a family name. The design uses the word as you type it, so add any detail that points to the person you're buying for.
Which products have the most Quay designs?
The regular T-shirt has the most, with 32 designs, followed by the dark T-shirt and the hoodie. Mugs and kids' shirts also have a good range.
What sizes do the quay shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Quay gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
