Gifts for people into quena
A quena is a notched end-blown flute from the Andes, and the people who play it often learned from family, at festivals, or in a community band that gathers on weekends. The instrument is simple on paper and hard to master, with breath control and fingering that take years to settle into. A gift for a quena player should reflect that devotion. A tee with their instrument's name on it works for rehearsals and concerts, a hoodie is practical for cold outdoor performances, and a mug suits the long practice sessions and quiet afternoons with the instrument on the stand. You can make it theirs by adding a second line with the name of their ensemble, the region their music comes from, or the year they started playing. That small detail tells them you know what the instrument means to them.
Quena gift questions
What is a quena?
A quena is a traditional end-blown notched flute from the Andean region of South America. It's made of bamboo, cane or wood and played in many folk and ceremonial traditions.
Can I add a group name or the player's name?
Many designs have a second line. Type in an ensemble name, a first name or a year, and the preview updates so you can check it before ordering.
Is there a kids version for a young quena student?
Yes. Kids tees and kids dark tees are available in four and two designs. Use the product filter to find them.
What if the player is in a group that wears matching shirts?
Use the Team Shop. Pick one design, paste the names of everyone in the group, and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the quena shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a quena gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
