Picking a gift for a r d intern
A resident doctor, or r d intern, is in the first year of residency, working long shifts in a hospital and learning the job one patient at a time. The gifts that land are the ones that fit that schedule: a soft tee to sleep in after a night call, a hoodie for the cold hospital hallways, and a mug for the coffee that keeps them going at 4 a.m. Put their name on it, and add the word intern or the year they started so it marks the milestone. Interns often finish one year and start the next in late June, and a gift that acknowledges the hard first year tends to be remembered. Pick a design, type the wording, and check the preview before you order.
R D Intern gift questions
What should I add to the shirt for a resident doctor?
Many designs have a second line. You can add their name, the program, or the year they started, so the shirt reflects their stage of training.
When do new residents usually start?
Most residency programs start in late June or early July, so a gift around that time marks the start of their first year.
Is there a gift for a whole intern class?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. Paste the names and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the r d intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a r d intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
