Picking a gift for a r d scientist
An R&D scientist spends their days on the part of the work that doesn't have an answer yet: prototypes that fail, experiments that run past the deadline, and the slow climb from a promising result to something a product team can actually use. They usually work in a lab or a shared engineering space, often with a notebook full of half-finished ideas and a coffee going cold beside it. A gift that acknowledges that curiosity lands better than a generic science joke. Put R&D Scientist on a shirt for the lab days, then add a second line with their field, their team or their lab's name, so it reads as theirs. A hoodie is good for the cold storage room and the long weekend stretch of writing up results. A mug on the bench is the one they'll reach for before the first experiment of the morning.
R D Scientist gift questions
Can I add a specialty or team name to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a field, a lab or a team name there and check the preview before ordering.
Is R&D Scientist a good gift for a new hire?
It works well for someone starting a research role. A shirt or mug with their title marks the start of the job and gives them something to wear on their first weeks in the lab.
Can I order shirts for a whole research team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the team's names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the r d scientist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a r d scientist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
