Picking a gift for a rad technologist
Radiologic technologists spend their days behind the lead wall, taking images that doctors depend on while keeping patients calm through a cold table and a few minutes of holding still. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that acknowledge that focus: a soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the chilly reading room, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't vanish from the break room. Rad techs often work across X-ray, CT, MRI and mammography, so a design that names their specialty or their credential, such as R.T.(R), CRT or their registry, makes it feel specific instead of generic. If you're buying for a whole imaging department, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a practical way to recognize a team that rarely gets thanked. Radiologic Technology Week, which falls in November, is a natural moment to order.
Rad Technologist gift questions
Can I add a credential like R.T.(R) or CRT to a rad tech shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box, either after their name or on its own line. The live preview lets you check spacing before you order.
When is Radiologic Technology Week?
It's held in November each year. Order a few weeks ahead if you're buying for a whole department.
What's a good gift for a new graduate of a radiography program?
A hoodie or tee with their new credential and graduation year. It's useful for early shifts and marks the milestone they worked for.
Can I order shirts for my whole imaging department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the rad technologist shirts come in?
