Gifts from Readsboro
Readsboro is a small town in southern Vermont, the kind of place where people know each other by name and a trip to the post office can take an hour. Most of the people who live there, or who spent childhood summers there, feel a real attachment to the town, and a shirt with its name is a way to carry that home with them. Readsboro is not a city with a big souvenir trade, so a gift with the town name on it tends to be special rather than generic. Think about who in your life grew up there, moved away, or still gets back for holidays. Add a second line with a street, a year they moved, or the name of the school or church they knew, and the shirt starts to belong to them. Because the name is uncommon, the design does most of the talking, and the person wearing it will usually get a question about where it's from.
