Picking a gift for a records tech
Records techs keep the paperwork side of healthcare running. They code charts, pull and file documents, answer release-of-information requests and make sure the right chart lands in front of the right clinician, often at the busiest hour of the shift. Plenty of them work quietly in the back office, so a gift that says what they do tends to land well. A tee for the commute, a hoodie for the chilly records room, or a mug for the desk that gets refilled three times before lunch all work. Add their credential, such as RHIT or CCS if they hold it, or the department they work in, and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole records team, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop beats a card passed around the office.
Records Tech gift questions
Can I add a credential like RHIT to a records tech shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box on its own line or after their name, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order.
Is records tech a common job title?
It's a widely used informal title for medical records and health information roles. If their official title is different, such as medical records specialist or coder, you can type that instead.
Can I order shirts for my whole records department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the records tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a records tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
