Gifts from Red Wing
Red Wing is a small river town in southeastern Minnesota, and the people who call it home tend to stay put or come back. A Red Wing shirt is how a longtime resident or a former local shows where they're from, whether that's at a family reunion in another state or at the grocery store back home. Because the name is short and distinctive, it works well on the front of a tee with a second line for a neighborhood, a graduating class or the year someone moved away. Hoodies suit the cold Minnesota winters people remember, and a mug is an easy everyday reminder for the transplant who misses the town. If you're buying for someone who grew up there, adding a detail only they would recognize is what makes the gift feel personal.
