Gifts from Redwood
Redwood is a word that means different things to different people. Redwood City, California sits on the peninsula south of San Francisco, and plenty of people grew up there and still call it home. For a shopper, the first step is to figure out which Redwood they mean and whether the gift is for someone who lives there now, someone who grew up there, or someone who just loves the name and the trees behind it. A tee or hoodie with Redwood on it works well for a local heading out on a weekend hike or a transplant who misses the Bay Area. A mug suits the one who works from home and wants something that feels like their own place. To make it theirs, use the second line for a neighborhood, a school, or the year they moved away. That small detail turns a city name into a memory they can wear.
Redwood gift questions
Which Redwood is the design for?
Redwood is a common place name, and many towns and communities share it. The designs use the word itself, so you can add a second line for a specific town, neighborhood or year to make it clear which Redwood you mean.
Can I add a neighborhood or school to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the neighborhood, school or class year there and check the preview before you order.
Are there Redwood designs for babies and kids?
Yes. There are kids tees in light and dark colors and baby onesies. Use the product filter to see which designs are available in each.
Is a Redwood mug a good gift for a long-distance friend?
It can be. A mug is something they'll use every morning, so it keeps the city close without being a novelty item. Adding a year or neighborhood makes it more personal.
What sizes do the redwood shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Redwood gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
