Gifts from Redwood City
Redwood City is a Peninsula city between San Francisco and San Jose, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a low-key way. They might work in tech, commute up and down 101, or have grown up on the Redwood City side of the Bay with family who've been around for decades. A shirt with the city name is how they say where they're from without a long explanation. For someone who's moved away, a Redwood City mug is a daily reminder of home, and for someone who still lives there, a hoodie for the foggy evenings is more useful than another souvenir. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a school or a graduating class year and the design starts to belong to them specifically. Pick a product that fits how they actually spend their days and the gift will get used.
