Picking a gift for a registered veterinary technician
A registered veterinary technician, or RVT, spends the day doing the work that keeps a clinic running: taking X-rays, placing catheters, running anesthesia monitoring, calming a scared cat and then a scared owner. Most of them chose the job because they love animals, and most of them are on their feet and in scrubs for ten hours at a stretch. The gifts they keep are the ones that feel like they belong to the work. A mug with their name for the break room, where the coffee gets cold between emergencies. A hoodie for the walk to the car after a long shift in a cold exam room. A tee with the credential spelled out, RVT, so the people who matter can tell the difference between a vet tech and a receptionist. If you want something more personal, add the species they see most, or the clinic's name if it's a small practice, and the shirt starts to read like a story about their day. Graduation from a vet tech program is another good moment for a gift, and so is National Veterinary Technician Week, which falls in October.
Registered Veterinary Technician gift questions
Can I put RVT or LVT on the shirt?
Yes. Type the credential in the text box, either after their name or on its own line. The preview shows you the spacing before you order.
When is National Veterinary Technician Week?
It's held in October each year. Order a few weeks ahead if you're buying for a whole clinic, since team orders take longer to fill.
Can I order shirts for my whole clinic team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the team's names, and choose a size for each person. Everyone gets a shirt with their own name.
Is a mug a good gift for someone who works long shifts?
It's one of the most useful picks. Many techs keep a mug at the clinic all week, so a name on it makes it theirs and keeps it from getting mixed up with the staff mugs.
What sizes do the registered veterinary technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a registered veterinary technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
