Picking a gift for a research and development director
A research and development director usually sits between the lab and the business side, turning experiments into things a company can actually ship. They spend a lot of their week in meetings with engineers, scientists and product leads, trying to keep long projects on track and budgets from drifting. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge that balancing act without being a joke about it. A clean tee for the weekend, a hoodie for the cold building that always seems to run warm or cold, or a mug for the first coffee before the morning review. Put the title on it, or shorten it to R&D Director, and add the company or team name on a second line if you want it to feel personal. For a farewell or promotion, a hoodie or mug with their new title and the year they got it marks the moment well.
Research And Development Director gift questions
Can I add a company name or team name under the title?
Many designs have a second line. Type the company or team name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
Yes. You can type R&D Director or Director of R&D in the text box, and any abbreviation they use at work will print exactly as you enter it.
What's a good gift for someone starting this role?
A mug or hoodie with their title and start year works well. It's personal, useful, and marks the new chapter.
Are there options for the whole R&D team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the research and development director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a research and development director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
