Picking a gift for a research and development technician
R&D technicians spend their days building the prototype, running the test, recalibrating the instrument and writing down exactly what happened, often at a bench that's been reorganized twice this year. They're the people who make the scientists' ideas physically work, and they tend to be the most careful person in the lab. A gift that acknowledges that skill lands better than a generic lab joke. A dark tee for the lab coat underneath a hoodie is practical for cold rooms and long experiments. Put the title on the shirt as they'd write it on a badge, and add their team or department on the second line so it reads as theirs. If the gift is for a whole group, one design in the Team Shop with each technician's name on their own shirt is a nice way to mark a project finishing or a lab anniversary.
Research And Development Technician gift questions
Can I add my technician's name and team to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, team or department. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
You can type any wording into the text box, so a shorter version like R&D Tech works too. The preview will show how it fits on each product.
Can I order shirts for my whole research team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the research and development technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a research and development technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
