Picking a gift for a research assistant
A research assistant spends a lot of the day in the middle of someone else's question: pulling sources, checking citations, cleaning up data, and keeping the project on track while the principal investigator is in meetings. The work is detail-heavy and often invisible, so a gift that says they're the one who knows where everything is tends to land well. A soft tee works for the lab or the library on a long day, a hoodie for the cold seminar room, and a mug for the stack of coffee that gets them through a deadline. Add the lab or department name, the project, or the year they started, and the shirt stops being a generic job tee and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole research group, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is an easy way to say thanks to everyone who made the grant work.
Research Assistant gift questions
Can I add a lab, department or project name to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type the lab, department or project name there, and the preview will show you how it looks before you order.
Do you have research assistant designs for kids or babies?
There are a few kids tees and one baby onesie with this word. Use the product filter on the page to see them.
Can I order shirts for my whole research team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Can I include a degree or credential?
Yes. Type it into the text box after their name or on its own line if it's something they'd want to show off.
What sizes do the research assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a research assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
