Picking a gift for a research investigator
Research investigators spend their days chasing questions that don't have answers yet, often in labs, field sites or archives where the work runs long and the funding is always tight. The gifts that land for them are the ones that nod to that curiosity: a tee they can wear to a conference poster session, a hoodie for the cold lab or the long drive to a field site, a mug for the desk where the coffee goes cold while they're reading. Put their title on it, or the field or lab they work in, and it stops being a generic work shirt. If they're graduating or starting a new role, add the year, since that's the milestone they'll remember. Type the word into the text box, check the preview for spacing, and the design is ready to order.
Research Investigator gift questions
Can I add a lab, field or project name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the lab, field or project there and the preview will update so you can check it before ordering.
Is there a version for kids in a family of researchers?
Kids tees and a kids dark tee are available with some designs, so you can match a parent's shirt with a little one's.
Can I order shirts for a whole research group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the group's names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the research investigator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a research investigator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
