Picking a gift for a research lab assistant
A research lab assistant keeps the bench running. They prep samples, label tubes, calibrate equipment, keep the freezer inventory straight and make sure the PI's protocols actually get followed. Most of their day happens in a lab coat and gloves, and much of it is repetitive precision work that rarely gets thanked. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well. A tee or hoodie for the drive in and out, or a mug for the bench where they drink their coffee between timed steps. To make it theirs, add their lab name, their team or the PI's group in the second line, or a year they started. Shopping for a whole lab? Use the Team Shop to put one design on everyone's shirt, each with their own name, so the group photo at the end of the project looks like a team.
Research Lab Assistant gift questions
Can I add the name of the lab or PI's group?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the lab or group name there and the preview updates so you can check the spacing.
Can I order shirts for everyone in the lab?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Is there a gift for a new research lab assistant starting out?
A mug or tee with their name and start year marks the beginning of the job. It's something they can use daily while they settle in.
What sizes do the research lab assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a research lab assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
