Picking a gift for a residency director
A residency director runs the program that trains new physicians, which means they're juggling duty-hour rules, the interview season, a stack of evaluations, and residents who need them at 2 a.m. They're usually the one who remembers everyone's name, the one who gets the late texts, and the one who quietly fights for the schedule. A gift that says residency director tells them their work is seen by someone outside the program. A shirt or hoodie works well for the office days and the long clinical weeks, and a mug suits the early-morning coffee before the first conference call. You can add the program or specialty on a second line if you know it, or keep it to the title and a name. Whatever you choose, keep the design simple, since a director's favorite gift is usually the one that's quietly useful.
Residency Director gift questions
Can I add the program or specialty to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a specialty or a program. Type it into the text box and the preview will show you how it looks before you order.
Is residency director a good gift for a program coordinator or chief resident?
It's written for the director, so it may not fit someone else's role. Search for their own title, or add their name to a design that fits.
Can I order for the whole faculty group at once?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste the list of names, and set a size for each person, so everyone gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the residency director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a residency director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
