Picking a gift for a resident service director
A resident service director usually runs the day-to-day life of a residence hall, apartment community or senior living building, which means handling move-ins, maintenance calls, roommate issues and the late-night emergency nobody planned for. The job is part administration and part being the person residents actually trust. A gift for them should acknowledge that they're always on call and often the first to hear the complaints. A plain tee or hoodie they can wear to a community event or on their day off feels like a thank-you, and a mug for the office gives them something of their own in a busy building. If you want it to feel personal, add their name and the building or community they work in on the second line. Many residence life teams also mark the end of the academic year or a major move-in season, so a gift that arrives around then tends to be remembered.
Resident Service Director gift questions
Can I put the building or community name on the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the building, community or campus name there and check the preview before ordering.
Is there a design for the whole residence life staff?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person so everyone gets a shirt with their own name.
What's a good gift for a resident service director who is new to the role?
A mug or tee with their name and title makes a welcoming start. It's useful, it marks the new job, and it's something they can keep in the office.
What sizes do the resident service director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a resident service director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
