Picking a gift for a residential advisor
A residential advisor, or RA, is the person on a dorm floor who knows where the fire extinguisher is, which student is struggling, and who has a spare phone charger. They plan floor events, run the hall meetings nobody wants to attend, handle the 2 a.m. noise complaints, and stay up late with students who are homesick or stressed about exams. Most RAs do this while carrying a full course load of their own, so a gift that acknowledges the work and the late nights tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with residential advisor on it is a practical choice for the hall, the lounge, or the long weekend after the year wraps up. An 11 oz mug fits the desk where they write their floor reports. Add the building name or the year they served in the second line, and the design becomes a record of their time on that floor.
Residential Advisor gift questions
Can I add the building name or my school to the design?
Many designs have a second line for a building, a year, or a school. Type it into the text box and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is residential advisor the same as a resident assistant?
Many schools use both terms for the same student staff role, though some use one or the other. If your school uses a different title, you can type that word or add it to the second line.
Can I order shirts for a whole staff team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person, so every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the residential advisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a residential advisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
