Gifts from Riga
Riga is the capital of Latvia, on the Baltic coast, and it's known for its old town, its Art Nouveau buildings and its market halls. A person from Riga, or someone who's lived there, will often carry that city with them long after they've moved on, and a Riga shirt or mug is a quiet way to say where home is. For a Latvian relative or friend living abroad, a design with the city name can be a nice reminder of the old streets they walked as kids. For a traveler who fell for Riga on a single trip, a hoodie or tee is a souvenir they'll actually wear, not one that sits in a drawer. If you're not sure how well they know the city, a simple design with just the name is safe, and a second line can carry a year or a short word that matters to them.
