Picking a gift for a rn progressive care unit
An RN on a progressive care unit sits between the ICU and the med-surg floor, so the shifts are busy in a different way. They're watching patients who are sicker than a regular floor but not quite on the ventilator, catching small changes early, and running their feet off between drips, vitals and family questions. The gifts that last are the ones that match that pace: a soft tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the chilly break room, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander to the nurses' station. Put the unit name on it, progressive care or PCU, and add their credential, RN or BSN, so it reads as theirs rather than a generic nurse shirt. If you're buying for a whole unit, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to land better than another box of donuts. Many nurses also mark graduations and milestones in May, when Nurses Week falls, so ordering a few weeks early helps.
RN Progressive Care Unit gift questions
Can I add RN or BSN to a progressive care shirt?
Yes. Type the credential after their name or on its own line, and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is there a design for the unit name itself?
Most designs have a second line where you can type progressive care, PCU or any other unit name you want to use.
What's a good gift for a nurse who just moved to progressive care?
A mug or tee with their name and unit is a friendly way to mark the transfer and gives them something practical for the new floor.
Can I order shirts for my whole PCU team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the rn progressive care unit shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a rn progressive care unit gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
