Gifts from Rudyard
Rudyard is a small town in the north of England's Staffordshire, but the name also belongs to Rudyard Lake, a reservoir in the Peak District, and to the Victorian author Rudyard Kipling, so anyone who carries it has a few stories to tell. A Rudyard shirt suits a day out to the lake, a visit to the town, or a fan of Kipling's writing who likes a name that sounds like a place. For someone who's moved away, a mug with the town's name is a quiet way of saying where they're from. Since the word is a place rather than a person, the second line is where the details go: a year, a visit, or a line from a favorite book. Pick the product that fits the person, then personalize the second line so the design feels like theirs.
Rudyard gift questions
Is Rudyard a place or a person's name?
It's both. Rudyard is a village in Staffordshire, England, and a first name that became well known through the author Rudyard Kipling. Designs use the word as you type it, so pick whichever meaning fits the person.
What can I put on the second line?
Many designs have a second line for a year, a visit, a name, or a short phrase. Type it into the text box and the preview shows how it sits under the main word.
Which product works best for a Rudyard gift?
It depends on the person. Mugs suit someone who misses the place, hoodies suit outdoor types, and tees work for days out and for kids.
What sizes do the rudyard shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Rudyard gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
