Gifts from Salix
Salix is a name you're unlikely to know from a map, so this page works a little differently from the big-city ones. Most of what the word refers to is local, which means the person who'd receive a Salix shirt or mug is probably someone who knows the place well, or someone who grew up hearing it. A shirt with the name on it is a way to say where they're from without a long explanation. Because the word is less familiar to most people, the second line matters more: a neighborhood, a street, a year they moved there, or a nickname the town uses can turn a plain city name into a personal one. If you're not sure how the place is spelled or said locally, ask the recipient before you order, since a small detail like that is exactly what they'll notice.
Salix gift questions
Can I add a neighborhood or year to a Salix design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the neighborhood, street or year there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a Salix design for kids?
Yes, there are kids tees and dark kids tees for this word. Use the product filter to find them.
Which product works best for a Salix gift?
It depends on the person. A mug suits someone who's far from home, and a hoodie suits someone who's back there and needs warmth.
What sizes do the salix shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Salix gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
