Gifts from San Marcos
San Marcos is a college town on the Texas Hill Country, so the people who'd wear a San Marcos shirt are often Texas State students, alumni who never quite left, and locals who've watched the river fill up with tubers every summer. Many of them split their time between the hills and wherever their work or family took them. A San Marcos tee or hoodie is how they claim the place, whether that's for a weekend on the Guadalupe or a Bobcats game day back home. The shirt lands best when it says something specific about them: the year they moved in, the neighborhood they grew up in, or the class they graduated from. A mug with the city name works well for the transplant who misses the hills and the slow mornings. It's a gift that says you know where they're from.
