Picking a gift for a scientific manager
A scientific manager usually sits between the bench and the budget. They keep the lab running, set priorities for research teams, sign off on timelines, and translate what the scientists are doing into terms the rest of the organization can act on. That's a lot of meetings and a lot of spreadsheets, so the gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the balancing act. A soft tee for the lab coat underneath, a hoodie for the cold conference room, or a mug for the first coffee before the calendar fills up. Add their title, or a line about the team they lead, and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole research group, a single design with each person's name in the Team Shop makes a better thank-you than another sheet cake.
Scientific Manager gift questions
Can I add a lab or department name to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type the lab, department or team name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a design with a name instead of just the title?
Yes. Several designs let you put a first or last name on the shirt or mug, so the title and the person both show up.
What's a good gift for a manager who's just been promoted?
A mug or tee with their title and the year they took over the role is personal without being showy, and it marks the moment in a way they'll keep using.
What sizes do the scientific manager shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a scientific manager gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
