Picking a gift for a scientific supervisor
A scientific supervisor usually runs a lab or a research team, which means they spend less time at the bench than they used to and more time keeping experiments, budgets and people on track. They're the one who knows where the reagents are, who needs a sign-off, and why the freezer alarm went off at two in the morning. A gift that acknowledges that work tends to land better than a generic science joke. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a practical choice for lab days and weekend errands alike. Add their field or their department on the second line so it reads as theirs and not a stock slogan. An 11 oz mug fits the long stretches of reviewing data at a desk, and a dark tee suits the people who prefer black to white on a lab coat's off-hours. If you're buying for a whole team, the Team Shop can put one design on everyone's shirt with each person's name, which makes a nice thank-you for a supervisor who looks after the group.
Scientific Supervisor gift questions
Can I add their field or lab name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the field, department or lab name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title that fits better?
Several designs use shorter wording. Browse the designs for this word to find one that fits the space you want, or type a shorter version into the text box.
Do you have designs for kids or babies?
There are a few kids tees and one baby onesie for this word. They're a fun way to share a parent's job title with the family.
What sizes do the scientific supervisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a scientific supervisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
