Picking a gift for a scientist internship
A scientist doing an internship is usually somewhere between student and professional: long lab days, pipetting until their hands cramp, reading papers at midnight and wondering whether the experiment will finally work. Many are also on their first real salary or stipend, and they're building the network that will shape their career. A gift that acknowledges the work and the moment tends to land well. A tee with the title on it is a nice nod to the first time they really felt like a scientist. A hoodie is useful for cold lab rooms and early commutes. A mug works for the coffee that keeps the bench going. Add their name, or the year of the internship, and the design becomes a record of a specific stage they'll look back on. Most internships run for a summer or a semester, so a gift near the end, when they're reflecting on what they've learned, feels especially thoughtful.
Scientist Internship gift questions
Can I add the name of the lab or the summer year?
Many designs have a second line for a name, year or program. Type it in and the preview will show how it fits before you order.
Is there a version for a kid who is a junior scientist?
Yes. Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for young scientists, so you can match the design to the age.
What's a good gift for a scientist who is ending an internship?
A hoodie or mug with the internship year works well. It marks the end of a stage and gives them something to keep from it.
Can I order shirts for everyone in the internship cohort?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste the names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the scientist internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a scientist internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
