Gifts from Scotlandville
Scotlandville is a neighborhood on the north side of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt or mug with Scotlandville on it is a way to claim that connection, whether the recipient still lives there, moved away for school or work, or has family who still do. Locals often think of it as home first and a place on a map second, so a gift that names it plainly tends to land well. If you're shopping for someone who left, a Scotlandville hoodie or mug is a quick reminder of where they're from. For a relative who still lives there, a tee or onesie with the neighborhood name makes an easy hometown gift. You can add a second line for a street, a school or the year they moved in, which turns a place name into something personal.
