Picking a gift for a scribe
A scribe is someone whose hands have spent years on the job: copying, recording, writing out what others can't or won't write themselves. Whether they work in a courthouse, a newsroom, a records office, or a medieval-themed workshop, the gift that lands is the one that takes the work seriously and still lets them relax. A soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for a cold archive reading room, a mug for the first coffee before the pen comes out. Put the word scribe across the front, and add a second line with their specialty, such as court reporter, copy desk, or calligraphy, so the shirt reads as theirs and not a generic costume. A scribe who loves the craft will notice the detail right away, and that's the moment the gift stops being a shirt and starts being recognition.
Scribe gift questions
Can I add a specialty or a name next to scribe?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a specialty, a name or a year there and the preview will update so you can check the layout.
Is scribe a common job title?
It's used in a few fields, including court reporting, historical record keeping and calligraphy. If you're unsure how they describe their work, a second line with their exact title keeps the shirt accurate.
Do you have scribe designs for kids or babies?
There are kids tees and a baby onesie with scribe designs. Filter by product to see which ones are available.
What sizes do the scribe shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a scribe gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
