Picking a gift for a server assistant
A server assistant, sometimes called a busser or runner, is the person who keeps the dining room moving: clearing tables, refilling water, carrying trays through a rush and making sure the server and kitchen stay in sync. The hours are long, the feet are sore and the work is mostly invisible until something goes wrong. A gift that acknowledges the hustle tends to land best. A soft tee for a shift that ends after midnight, a hoodie for the walk to the car, or a mug for the break they only get in the last ten minutes of a double. Putting their name on the piece makes it theirs, and it also says you noticed the work. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a lot easier than a group text about sizes.
Server Assistant gift questions
Can I add a name or a restaurant to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type their name or the restaurant there. The live preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is server assistant a good word for a gift?
It works well for someone who wants their actual job title on their gear. If they go by busser, runner or food runner, type that instead, since the designs are yours to personalize.
What's a good gift for a new server assistant?
A tee or mug with their name and the restaurant. It's useful during the first rough weeks and it tells them you're proud of the start they're making.
Can I order for my whole staff at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the server assistant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a server assistant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
