Gifts from Shaktoolik
Shaktoolik is a small Inupiat village on the Norton Sound coast of western Alaska, and the people who grew up there, or who came back to it after years away, tend to hold on to that connection hard. A shirt with the village name is how they claim it at a family gathering, a school event, or a distant city where nobody has heard of the place. Because it's such a small community, a gift that names it tells the person you know where they're from, which means more than a generic Alaska souvenir. The product matters too. A hoodie gets worn through long winters that the village knows well, a mug sits on the kitchen table where stories get told, and a onesie or kids tee can carry the name to the next generation. Type the village name into the main line, and add a second line for a year, a family name or a place they miss.
Shaktoolik gift questions
Can I add a family name or year under the village name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a family name, a year or a short phrase there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Do you have designs for kids and babies too?
Yes. Shaktoolik comes as a kids tee, a dark kids tee and a baby onesie, so you can choose the product that fits the child you're shopping for.
Can I order shirts for a whole family or group?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, so every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the shaktoolik shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Shaktoolik gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
